Oh, pure meaning and glorious connection. Oh, detested definition and constrained comprehension.

This is a picture of my great grandparents. Being one in a moment. Surrounded by Everything in the Universe, and being Everything in the Universe.

We are one. No?

We are matter. We cannot be destroyed, only recycled back and back and back into the universe.

We are energy. We cannot be destroyed, only recycled back and back and back into the universe.

No, wrong again--"we" indicates there are multiple individuals, gathered or grouped together in action or distinction and "we" is separating. There is no "we" because there is no "I" because all is one because all is recycled and equal in worth and importance. The matter and energy in a leaf is still matter and energy, like the matter humans are made with and like the energy humans burn and recycle. The difference is only in the structure. The physical; reality's facade, oh most decadent and embellished universal design by which definition is the only sense of ground and foundation available for communication, for understanding, for sanity. And definition is excellent at separating and distinguishing...misleading. Because definitions grow and shape and always will to each defined individual based in difference in experience and environment and development.

So where is the foundation of true reality if each predefined individual defines each thing differently because we believe that, by someones else's projected definition filtered through our own established process of translation, all things must be defined. And through these "universal" definitions, we build a "universally acknowledged" reality.

...And, if perhaps your definitions are too uncommon, you are not necessarily a radical reformer of thought and perspective...but you are crazy. Mentally insane. You do not know how to define things like everyone else. You are broken. Your definitions are wrong. Your definitions are misleading. Your definitions are not coherent. Your definitions are undefined. A leaf is not a person. I didn't say it was--I meant that the ener--You are crazy. You are confused.

You are not defined.

...I ("I" for translation's sake) will form my own definitions. Confuse myself. Toss out What Is and leave alone Who Is. "I" will approach a You as if oxygen. As if life giving, beautifully structured and perfectly crafted extension of Soul. And a moment later, "I" shall still attempt to relieve you of definition. And "We" can be. Breath and life together.

An Ideal, They call it. To define it, an Ideal.

Let it go. Let it go. Let it...

  5. It's certainly a very pleasant surprise to find such wonderful writing, especially in a world where nothing seems to make sense anymore. What's even better is the fact that through your work, you acknowledge this 'non-linearity' of life, yet you manage to phrase everything ever so beautifully.
I can tell that you still stay grounded and true to who you are, that's a wonderful thing. You're 'different', and you're at peace with yourself, to a certain extent. 'Wise', 'thought-provoking', 'pretty' ... No words in the world could describe your blog well enough.
I really love reading your posts (so glad I found your blog!), and keep up the excellent work!

    Peace out,
Amanda (someone stubbornly different from the other side of the planet, working hard to make the world we live in a slightly better place)

  6. For some reason the channel that broadcast ANTM here decided to broadcast "your" cycle again...I decided to come here see if finally (don´t take it wrong) Analeigh had an update here and I found this. Definitely making these first college days looking better.

Beautifully written. Being subjective is what make things interesting...arguable...creating our own "definitions"...our goals.

And if my goal of someday meeting such a beatiful soul like yours...damn I´d be glad to create a "we" definition for me and her.

P.S.: I found your blog at the same time Norah Jones released her latest album...when I come back here to read new post I have also to come back to the same soundtrack. Speaking of music...taken a listen to Diane Birch and/or Tired Pony ;)

    Cheers from Portugal :)

  8. hey i like this post, you have a great paradigm in a great writing, but something strange i thought, i want to know why and how the process until you wrote "There is no "we" because there is no "I" because all is one because all is recycled and equal in worth and importance" ?
what is the relation of the definition of "There is no "we" because there is no "I" because all is one" -with- "because all is recycled and equal in worth and importance"? I do agree with the meaning but maybe you wrote the sentence too soon in the early paragraph so I feel like, "hey, thats a great definition but you just said that when there's still too many things to consider as definition, and that makes it too relative to be agreed".
but I'm sure you have a strong reason for it and i really like to hear that..
well overall i really really like your posts, and this post really catch my mind, so I'll wait for the incredible next :)

I know I'm late to the party on this post but wow, just one incredible, take-my-breath-away, I don't have words wow. To be this for another person and to define one's meaning through the essentialness you are to them is .... life, or the consummation of it. Beautiful. *tips imaginary hat
